They hated us during their whole history, nobody knows why. Moscow was founded by a brother of king of Kyiv, and tge first thing he did after that was attacking Kyiv. During times of russian empire many ukrainians were mobilized for their multiple wars. During ussr they stole grain from us and sold it to Europe. During ww2 Ukraine and Belorussia played a role of human shield for russia, the losses were huge here, the war was not so hard for russia. What they want now is probably a mix of all this. Also they have totalitarian regime and we were a bad advertisement for their population. They could see that the more you get rid of ussr-kgb shit, the better your life becomes, that you can just live freely and everything will be ok.

Before 2014 they were football hooligans. Larping as nazis is a common joke here because it triggers communists, who we hate because of mass-murders of ukrainians in ussr. Very few people are nazis for real. Azov didn't terrorize Donbas. The deaths of civilians there was exaggerated by russian propaganda. Also russians were shooting with artillery placed near civilian houses, hoping that we shoot back and hit the house, don't know whether we were shooting back in those cases or not.

People actually voted for him, mostly because all politicians are corrupt and have a history of being involved in ussr politics. People thought that it's better to have a president that was never involved in politics before, even if he is a comedian. Now it seems that we need a new person again.

Obviously I want it to stop, but if it's "just stopped and that's all" it will give russia a break, they will prepare better and attack again. And next time they can win and go further. They still consider what they captured during ww2 to be their territory, their internal propaganda bradcasts "we will capture the whole world" to population daily for many years, the population is dreaming about it. Right now the only option is to continue the war and win it.

We need weapon, proper one and on time. During past 3 years we were getting what we asked for too late, like half a year late. As some guy said, we needed javelins but we got UN food stamps, then we needed air defence but we got javelins, then we needed tanks but we got air defence, then we needed long range missiles but we got tanks etc. Also I heard people complaining about quantity of that weapon. Western politicians were too afraid and were desperately trying to make a deal with putin, precious time was lost, we need them to be more confident and help us destroy him. About internal politics - we need much more weapon manufacturing and less corruption. Zelensky is too soft and afraid to look like dictator, we need actual dictatorship temporarily, not like in Russia, but with death penalties for corruption and with mobilizing all countries resources for the war.
